We had our first ever Open House in the Meadow on 12 May 2024.  People were invited into the Meadow on their way to or from the Farmers’ Market which was very busy on its first day of the season.  We were very pleased to welcome 140 visitors to the Meadow in 3 hours.  For many, it was their first visit but others told us they had been here many times.  We were pleased about this because people are using the area without leaving any trace. That’s just perfect from our point of view.  It was really fun for the volunteers to see people enjoying the meadow and hearing their many positive comments.  The Meadow is open all the time but we intend to have more open  house days to invite people in and have a chance to chat with them about our work.
