With all the good weather we have had during the fall, it was the perfect time to install the plants and bulbs purchased with the grant we received from BC Hydro.  (see News for 04April2024).   With rain and moist soil, the plants should establish themselves with no additional irrigation.   We have planted Yarrow, Nodding Onion, Red Columbine, Great camas, Sticky Cinquefoil, Woolly Sunflower, White Fawn-lily, Western Fescue, Prairie Woodrush, Alaska Onion grass, Broad-leaved Shooting Star, Self-heal and Harvest Brodaiea.  We will be planting the seeds of Menzies’ Larkspur in flats and setting out the seedlings next spring.  Watch for our next Open House in May, 2025 to see these plants in their full glory.
